Life Hacks to Make Cleaning Your Bathroom a Breeze

Anyone who has cleaned their bathrooms before themselves knows the unexpected dirt and grime that room can conjure up. Added with all the wetness, cleaning a bathroom can be the worst nightmare of a germaphobe. If you want to make your bathroom cleaning chore a breeze, follow these life hacks today!

Removing stubborn water stains with vinegar

When you don’t regularly dry off the water from the shower pipes and heads, you’re going to eventually end up with a lot of grime and stains on it. Removing the grime can seem like a tedious process because no matter how rigorously you scrub the metal, they just don’t seem to go away.

The easy, cheap solution to getting rid of them is by using vinegar. Simply pour some vinegar on the pipes and shower head, wrap it around with a shopper and let it sit for a few hours. The stains will be completely removed but you might have to bear with the pungent vinegary smell. Use essential oils to get rid of the smell!

You could also use lemon to clean your hardware around the bathroom to avoid the vinegar odor. But be careful because using a lemon with a salt solution can leave scratches on metal.

Use toilet fizzy bombs

Cleaning the toilet is probably the worst thing. Nobody wants to do it but a responsible homeowner has to. There’s no other way around it. Make the job easier by creating a DIY fizzy bomb using baking soda and citric acid. Dilute the mixture with some water slowly making sure it doesn’t fizz up. Add in a few drops of essential oils to finish off. Use this DIY fizz bomb to make your toilet spotless and smelling great!

Cleaning the shower door with vinegar

Vinegar is a great domestic product to use in the bathroom. Apart from cleaning stains on the shower heads, you can also use vinegar to wash away salt water stains on your glass door – how cool is that?
